Welcome to the Essendon Parkinson’s Support Group Inc.

Do you live with Parkinson’s? Or do you care for someone with Parkinson’s?

If so, you know your life can be full of day-to-day challenges. You don’t have to feel alone, come and meet with us and you will find you are not alone on the Parkinson’s journey.

About Us

We are a support group run by dedicated volunteers, who meet regularly in a relaxed welcoming environment, we aim to provide those living or caring for someone with Parkinson’s Disease the opportunity to learn more about the disease and to enjoy the company of others who share similar experiences, situations and challenges.

Our group has provided support for over 20 years to those who live with Parkinson’s. We come from many backgrounds. The level of disability within our group varies, as no two people with Parkinson’s share the same symptoms. While some of our members are recently diagnosed some have been living with Parkinson’s for over 20 years. Our support group includes members ranging in age from the 50’s to 80’s.

Meetings are informal and friendly, and provide information about Parkinson’s Disease, speakers of interest and other activities.
